About Birdie
Hi, I’m Wendy, but those who love me most call me Birdie. I’m a mother, grandmother, and a natural caretaker at heart.
My journey began working in early childhood development, and in the summers as a camp counselor. Life took me into the corporate world for financial reasons while I raised my family, but my true passion has always been working with and being around children. Now, as a grandmother, I’m reconnecting with that passion by helping others navigate their parenthood journey.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying time with my grandchildren, my fur and feathered friends, or exploring the theater, dining out, and enjoying all that South Florida has to offer. I believe in living life with a sense of humor, making the best of every situation, and embracing kindness. Helping others brings me immense joy, and I’m a firm believer in encouraging everyone to be their own cheerleader.
